Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026

This policy explains how this Website uses cookies and similar technologies, which optional third-party tools may be enabled, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They allow the site, or the provider that set them, to recognize your device, remember information and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include pixels (small images or scripts that report activity to a provider), local storage in your browser, and software development kits.

Cookies can be “first-party” (set by the website you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by another organization, for example an analytics provider). They can last only for your visit (“session” cookies) or for a longer period (“persistent” cookies).

2. How this Website uses them

The Website is built to work without setting tracking cookies of its own, and its own code does not store information in your browser for advertising or profiling. Delivering pages, navigation menus, and submitting the Request a Quote and Contact forms do not require cookies.

Fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting the Website does not cause your browser to request fonts from Google’s font servers. The Website does not embed social media widgets, videos or maps that set their own cookies. Links to social media profiles are ordinary links: no data is sent to those platforms unless you follow them.

The only cookies or similar technologies that may be used on the Website are those associated with the optional third-party measurement tools described in the next section, and only when we have enabled them.

3. Optional analytics and measurement tools

We may use analytics and measurement tools to understand how visitors find and use the Website, and to measure enquiries. These tools load only when we switch them on. If they are not enabled, no cookies from them are set. When enabled, they work as follows:

ToolProviderPurposeTypical cookies or technologies
Google Analytics 4GoogleMeasures visits, pages viewed, how visitors arrive and how forms and links are used, so that we can improve the Website.Cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container ID>, which distinguish visitors and sessions and typically last up to two years.
Meta PixelMeta PlatformsMeasures conversions and the effectiveness of any advertising we run on Meta’s platforms, and may help build audiences for it.Cookies such as _fbp (typically about 90 days) and a script that reports page views and events to Meta.

Cookie names and lifetimes are set by the providers and may change; the table shows typical values. The providers act on their own account in respect of some of the information they collect, and their handling of it is described in their own privacy policies.

The events we may measure include: starting a quote form, submitting the quote or contact form, clicking an email address or telephone number, and viewing a service page. We do not send the contents of your form submissions to these tools.

4. Legal basis and consent

Where applicable law requires your consent before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, the tools above are enabled only together with a way for you to give or refuse that consent. Where consent is not required, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Website and measuring our marketing, balanced against your privacy.

You can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the options below.

5. How to control cookies

You have several ways to control or delete cookies and to limit tracking:

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies for all sites or for particular sites. Blocking all cookies may affect how some sites work. Consult your browser’s help pages for instructions.
  • Google Analytics. Google provides a browser add-on that prevents your data from being used by Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Meta advertising. You can manage how Meta uses information for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or through the industry opt-out tools operated by the Digital Advertising Alliance (youradchoices.com) and the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (youronlinechoices.com).
  • Signals from your browser. Some browsers offer privacy features or signals such as Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track”. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to these, so we cannot promise that every such signal will be honoured, but blocking third-party cookies in your browser will prevent the tools above from setting cookies.

6. Personal information and other policies

Information collected through cookies and similar technologies may include personal information, such as an online identifier or IP address. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains your rights.

Our Terms of Use govern your use of the Website in general.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the tools we use or if the law changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects the cookies we set, we will update this page before the change takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent again.
