1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Anuvaad Enterprise (“Anuvaad”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides language and localization services to businesses, including translation, localization, interpretation, multimedia and voice services, linguistic quality assurance and AI and language services. We are based in India and serve clients globally.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit anuvaadenterprise.com (the “Website”), submit an enquiry, or otherwise contact us through it. It applies to visitors, prospective clients and business contacts.

It does not describe how we handle content that is shared with us for a client project. That content is governed by the agreement, quotation or non-disclosure terms agreed for the project (see section 4).

We act as the party that decides why and how personal information collected through the Website is used (a “data controller” or “data fiduciary”, depending on the applicable law).

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run the Website and respond to enquiries.

Information you give us. When you complete the Request a Quote form or the Contact form, we collect:

• Contact details: full name, company, work email address, phone number (optional) and country.
• Project details: the service you require, source and target languages, industry, content type, approximate volume, required delivery date and your description of the project.
• Enquiry details on the Contact form: your subject or enquiry type and your message.
• Any other information you choose to include in a free-text field or in correspondence with us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting environment may record technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and the date and time of the request. If analytics tools are enabled on the Website, they may also record how visitors use it, including events such as starting or submitting a form, clicking an email address or telephone number, or viewing a service page. Information from other sources. We do not buy personal information for the purposes of this Website. If you later become a client or a vendor, we may collect additional information as needed for that relationship, and we will explain how we use it at that time.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, financial account details or health information) through the Website forms. We do not need it to assess an enquiry.

Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we process personal information for the purposes described above on the basis of your consent or for the legitimate uses the Act permits, such as responding to a request you made to us.

We do not use your information to make decisions about you by purely automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell personal information.

4. Project files and confidential material

The Website does not accept file uploads. Please do not email or otherwise send contracts, technical documents, audio, video or other confidential material as part of an initial enquiry.

After we have reviewed your enquiry, our team will provide a secure submission method for files and detailed project material. We are happy to discuss confidentiality undertakings, including a non-disclosure agreement, before you share anything sensitive.

Client and project content is handled under the terms agreed for the project. Specific security and data-handling requirements can be discussed during project onboarding. Nothing on this Website is a certification or guarantee of any particular security standard.

5. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

The Website is built to work without setting tracking cookies of its own. Where we enable analytics or measurement tools, such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, those providers may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure usage and conversions.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary and only with:

• Linguists, interpreters, voice professionals and other subcontractors, but only after you engage us for a project and only to the extent needed to deliver it. They are expected to keep project information confidential.

We are based in India and work with clients around the world. • Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for a reasonable period so that we can follow up and respond to related questions, and are then deleted or anonymised.
• Information relating to quotations, projects and contracts is kept for as long as the relationship continues and afterwards for the periods needed to meet accounting, tax, legal and dispute-related requirements.
• Analytics data is kept for the period set in the analytics tool’s settings.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer identify you.

9. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. These include restricting access to people who need it and using secure connections for the Website.
